“Optional” does not mean casual. It offers flexibility within a formal setting.
Creative Black Tie and other dress codes
Creative Black Tie allows more personal expression while retaining an evening-wear foundation. A colour or texture detail should still be chosen as part of the whole outfit and within the hosts’ guidance.
