The Consiglieri Custom Made Concept
Custom Made means precision, personalization, increased attention to detail, and a perfect cut. Clothing items of undeniable elegance, a true experience of luxury and good taste.
Combining tradition and innovation, Consiglieri brings the Made to Measure concept to a new level. With a history rooted in the England of King Henry I, when tailors were granted royal rights and privileges, over time, suits made to the wearer's measurements gained new significance, especially with the era of Ready-to-Wear products. To stand out and ensure a flawless look, a suit tailored to the wearer's needs and anthropometry has become a Must-Have for the modern man.
The Custom Made concept implies more than a made-to-order product (to the wearer's dimensions or Made to Measure), adding the defining elements of personal style to the clothing. Whether we are talking about cut, construction method, or customization possibilities, the product is designed around each client's personality.
The main stages of a Custom Made experience:
- Any clothing item - whether a customized suit, a shirt, or an entire wardrobe - starts with the client's needs. The first step in this regard is the discussion with the style consultant who will outline the main rules of the dress code based on individual preferences and needs.
In Consiglieri showrooms in Bucharest or Cluj-Napoca, by appointment, you benefit from complete men's style consultation and the creation of a personalized clothing portrait, based on which the image consultant will be able to present proposals for your future outfit.
- After establishing the main style rules and understanding the client's needs, the next step is to outline the suit itself, by choosing the material and the details that will define it. In terms of fabrics, Consiglieri offers clients a varied range, supplied by the most prestigious specialized houses: Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Ermenegildo Zegna, Cerutti, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil, Ariston, Carnet, etc.
At the same time, the details of the outfit are very important: from the structure of the jacket (full or half canvas type) to the type of collar, cuffs, buttons, pockets, vents, buttonhole, monogram, or lining - all are chosen together with the Consiglieri image expert.
The most important aspect: the client has the final say in finalizing the suit, being able to opt for any personalized element.
- The most important aspect is when the master tailor comes into play to take measurements and establish the perfect cut based on body shape and style. In the fitting room, both the clothing consultant and the tailor lay the foundation for the final outfit: starting from the initial request, the client will try on a standard suggested by the tailor, based on which measurements will be taken for the technical sheet: from the length of the sleeve, jacket, and trousers (if applicable), to the collar height, back width, button symmetry, waist circumference, chest opening, or adding/removing excess material. Depending on the order, the client will try on either a two or three-piece suit, along with the corresponding shirt, or just the requested clothing item.
Before the product is finalized, there is an intermediate fitting where final adjustments will be made, if necessary. A Custom Made product is made in approximately 30 days from placing the order.
- The last step is to finalize the outfit by adding accessories. Benefiting from the permanent support of the personal consultant, Consiglieri offers clients a wide range of accessories that can perfectly complement any outfit: for ceremonial outfits, the bow tie, white handkerchief, suspenders or cummerbund, and cufflinks are mandatory; for business outfits, the context, personality, and color scheme of the suit must be considered when choosing the tie, handkerchief, and if necessary, cufflinks or a tie clip; for smart-casual outfits, the range is even wider, allowing for classic accessories as well as a cashmere or cotton scarf, a hand-painted handkerchief, or a statement bag.
A very important aspect is shoes, to which Consiglieri pays special attention, the collection being chosen based on the principles of quality and timeless style. From classic Oxfords to double monk straps, brogues, or loafers, in Consiglieri showrooms in Bucharest or Cluj-Napoca, there is a pair of shoes for every modern man.
For the new season, Consiglieri introduces a new series of products to complete a gentleman's wardrobe: from custom jeans and chino pants to polo shirts, denim shirts, knitwear, modern trench coats, or sports jackets.
